In some SAS 9.4 TS1M5 environments under UNIX, SAS® Deployment Manager indicates that the installation of Hot Fix B8S001 is successful. However, the sashpsbr file is not updated. In this scenario, SAS Deployment Manager displays the following message in the graphical user interface and in the SASHOME/InstallMisc/InstallLogs/hps_<platform>_2.2_M6_HFB8S001_en_Install_preexec.log file:
When you encounter this issue, the issues that Hot Fix B8S001 should resolve continue to occur because the hot fix does not replace the sashpsbr file.
To work around this issue, you must install Hot Fix B9V001. To determine whether this issue applies to your environment, perform the following steps:
